How to Use ThinLine Radio on Mobile

Step 1: Create Your ScannerGrid Account

Start by creating your account at portal.scannergrid.net .

This is the account you will use with the ThinLine Radio app.

Step 2: Subscribe to Your County

After registering, go to the Subscriptions page and choose the county you want access to.

Active counties require a subscription. Beta systems may be available during testing, and coming soon systems are not yet ready.

Step 3: Download the ThinLine Radio App

Install the ThinLine Radio app from your device’s app store.

After installing, open the app and navigate to the scanner/server list.

Step 4: Tap “Manual Add Scanner”

Inside the ThinLine Radio app, open the scanner/server list.

Tap the green “Manual Add Scanner” button.

You will then be asked to enter the scanner information.

• Name: ScannerGrid
• URL: portal.scannergrid.net

After entering this information, the app will display a login box asking for the email and password you created on the ScannerGrid portal.

Step 5: Sign In to ScannerGrid

When prompted, enter the same email and password you used when registering at portal.scannergrid.net .

Once signed in, ScannerGrid will be added to the app.

Step 6: Start Listening

Once ScannerGrid and your county are visible in the app, tap the feed or channel you want and begin listening.

Available features may vary depending on your subscription and the county you selected.

Troubleshooting

• Make sure you created your account on the ScannerGrid portal first.
• Make sure your subscription matches the county you want to access.
• Be sure the scanner name is entered as ScannerGrid.
• Be sure the URL is entered as portal.scannergrid.net.
• If you subscribed recently, fully close and reopen the app.
• If your county is still in beta, access may vary while testing is in progress.
