ScannerGrid provides free scanner feed access to verified public safety personnel, including Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, EMA, and other approved first responders.
Access is not limited to just one or two counties. Verified responders may be granted access to counties available on the ScannerGrid system based on their role, response area, and approval status.
This access is intended to serve as an added situational awareness tool for eligible responders on and off duty, while maintaining appropriate access controls and system integrity.

If a department head, chief, administrator, or authorized agency representative is interested in providing access to their entire department, ScannerGrid can support department-level access management as well.
This can allow an agency to manage access more efficiently, including the ability to coordinate member invites, approvals, and removals at the department level.
