ScannerGrid is committed to supporting responsible public access to public safety communications while respecting responder safety, operational priorities, and the needs of the agencies we serve. We welcome communication from agency leadership, communications staff, and authorized representatives.
We are open to discussing questions, concerns, and partnership opportunities related to feeds, access controls, responder safety considerations, and regional coverage. Our goal is to operate in a way that supports transparency, public awareness, and practical coordination where appropriate.
ScannerGrid offers free access for verified first responders across counties available on our system. This is intended to support Fire, EMS, Law Enforcement, EMA, and other approved personnel with additional situational awareness tools when appropriate.
We also have backend tools to assist with verification and responder access management, although that process is currently being updated and may still require manual review in some cases.
If a chief, department head, administrator, or authorized agency representative is interested in department-wide access, we can also work with agencies on managed access options so they can help coordinate invites and removals for their own personnel.
If your agency or organization would like to help improve radio coverage in your area, ScannerGrid can provide preconfigured monitoring hardware that is ready to deploy. These setups are designed to be simple and low-maintenance.
ScannerGrid is designed to improve public awareness and provide responsible access to public safety communications without compromising responder safety or operational integrity. We do not provide encrypted traffic for general public access.
In cases involving an agency-approved arrangement or formal partnership, we are open to discussing controlled delivery methods, delayed access, or other appropriate handling options where legally permitted and operationally appropriate.

Whether you are reaching out about a feed, interested in responder access, exploring department-wide management, or want to help improve coverage in your area, we are happy to discuss options.
